What's included and how to I access it?

Living Porpoisefully® Sea School on demand virtual courses contain adventure videos, games, quizzes, hands-on tutorials, and printable fun pages.

Physical supplies for optional hands-on activity are NOT included. (Templates, instructions, supply list, and video how-to ARE included.)

Once you purchase a course, you’ll be able to access it with a login on our site whenever you like! (Login button is at the top of our site.)

Are learning standards addressed?

YES! Our aim is to get kids inspired + excited about science.

Our courses target STEAM, NGSS, Common Core and literacy standards such as:

diversity of life
Earth’s systems
patterns
structure and function
analyzing + interpreting data

developing + using models

What supplies do I need?

For the best experience, we recommend a printer and paper along with basic supplies like scissors, glue, and crayons or colored pencils.

For the optional hands-on activity, you can find the household supplies listed in the hands-on activity downloads once you’ve purchased the course.

Some examples of supplies include flour, water, salt, upcycled materials (like a plastic bowl), ribbon or yarn, glue.

We do not ship supplies.

I'm an educator at a school, homeschool, learning center, or camp. How do I use this?

Our courses are like virtual field trips with printable games, fun pages, and an optional hands-on activity.

They are fintastic STEAM lessons that make science learning a fun adventure.

Here are some tips:

Make copies of the pdf’s for each student.
Check the supply list for the optional hands-on activity to source what you need.
Experience the video adventures as a whole-class activity on a screen.

We include tailored tips for educators + organizations in our courses too.

Is this live, scheduled, or interactive?

Our courses are on-demand (not live or scheduled) so they are self-paced and can be experienced when it works for YOUR schedule.

We have an optional interactive Ask Eve Q+A component in each course, so students can ask their questions and hear back from Eve. They love it!

I just finished up the Sea School program with my 6 year old son (1st grade). We LOVED doing the lessons together. He couldn’t wait to learn about the next organism and was able to make connections to things he’s seen in books but didn’t know much about or that they were real.
My son said ” I loved it and I had fun seeing the cool stuff Eve showed!” He said the journal was easy to follow. He loved being able to draw and write about what he saw. And as an added bonus, he was also really excited to “Ask Eve” his question about hermit crabs!
Eve is enthusiastic, relatable, and her passion for the ocean comes through her teaching. The additional worksheets are a wonderful supplement to the program and kept the learning going well after the program ended.
