Don’t dig in the sand and hide your beautiful self, or raise your claws in unnecessary snappy defense — life’s too short for that!
We got to get away to the beach last weekend, and wow did we need it (stay tuned for a travel post of Seaside, FL). Â We were so relaxed that we even forgot what day it was.
On one of our beach walks, we got to see some beautiful speckled crabs.  Some of them would see our shadows approaching and *poof!* they were buried in the sand in an instant!  We were astonished at just how easily they dug in, backside first, and disappeared without a trace.
Some of them had more of an aggressive standpoint, and raised their snapping claws as we tried to get a good camera shot.  We stole this photo while we could, but the crab made it very clear that it wasn’t happy we were taking note of it.
Isn’t it remarkable how you can tell the vibe someone’s giving off, even in creatures from a different species!? Â
So, in true Living Porpoisefully spirit, we’re drawing inspiration from the sea, and this time it happens to be from the crabby crab:  Are you giving off a crabby vibe?  Or a happy one?
Don’t dig in the sand and hide your beautiful self, or raise your claws in unnecessary snappy defense — life’s too short for that!  Relax, take off the exoskeleton, and leave the crabbiness to the speckled crabs that we encountered last weekend.
Now send out those happy vibes instead of crabby ones to everyone around you.  We’ve got you covered with easy-share buttons below for crabby-free sharing to those you can’t reach in person! 🙂
